Stainless round bar BBQ grill

I want to make a replacement grill for my gas BBQ and after some online research thinking 8mm stainless round bar seems to be the best material. Something similar to this.

Does anyone have any recommendations for online suppliers?
Can I buy polished bar and just clean up the welded points, and does the grade of stainless make any difference in terms of using this for a BBQ grill.

i just purchased stainless rebar for mine not sure if the round bar would be better or not

you want 316 or better 321 stainless. Aalco is who I use.
