Stainless beer keg dimensions - standardised in the uk?

Ive had a bit of a look about, and come up with details like this -

but im not sure ive ever seen any that done just look like E?

Can anyone tell me with any certainty what size a keg would be, should i manage to acquire one?

(basically, i want to be sure it would be suitable, before i spend time looking for one)

E is the most common in the UK.
There are a few C about as well.
Obviously both of those types will be owned by the brewery so it would be damaged etc. If you were to source one!

A and B are also available unbranded and sold by home brew shops etc so are expensive.

When/if I build my trike it's been a long-desired ambition to have a beer keg as a fuel tank. Not original, of course, but from the first time I saw it done about 40 years ago, I thought it was as cool as Frosty's nuts.
Of course by this time it's been done so often that anyone looking at it will think, "Oh, another beer keg petrol tank, big deal." But hey, I don't care.

I have about 5 of the E type kegs and keg watch they own them but they have failed to come and get them, I think i am just going to leave them outside a pub...

I get asked often to modify beer kegs as in my country people are using them as storage vessels to keep home made wine and spirits as they are strong, food grade steel and with just a new screw on lid and a tap welded at the bottom you can stack them easily and safely in a small footprint! Just make sure you grt all the beer out as some have a fair bit of pressure in them!

Have you seen or are you aware of Kegwatch? I am sure it has been mentioned on the site before.

The A type are often called cornelius kegs, the spelling does seem to vary. The original use I believe was for the concentrate used in drinks vending systems and I suspect that they get replaced after a certian number of uses.

What are you after one for? I have a brewery owning friend that may have some that are scrap as far as he is concerned.
