Stable roof replacement

We have an outside building with the roof facing South and are thinking about having solar panels.
The roof currently has corrugated asbestos type material which I guess isn’t suitable for.
The roof supports are in good condition.
Can anyone suggest what materials would be suitable as a replacement and suitable to support solar panels.
Catnic looks suitable but not sure.

depends on your roof and what is your frames of the roof

but as goes for your roof material already your looking at removal and replacement of either box profile roofing or corrugated roof

as goes for the wood framing it depends on what size of installment your going to do with the solar

but first off calculate what your going to do to sort the roof out and what size of solar your going to fit on there then its new framing to strengthen where needed

best advice i can give for now is what size of roof and what size of solar are you going to install

Neighbour replaced his old roof sheets with wriggly tin , then stuck the solar schizzle on that .

We on a regular basis turn concrete garages with asbestos roofs into a wood construction with 4x2 timber and 18mm plywood then a SBS torch on felt...we leave the metal framing in and bolt our timbers to it to keep the ridgidity of the concrete panel walls....

Insulated trapezoidal sheet, make sure the support for this includes the roof being covered in snow (dead weight load) including the solar equipment
you can buy specific rails and brackets Rensol do Portrait and Landscape systems which are simple and quite cheap for what they are
