The dimwit next door decided it would be a great idea to get the pikeys to fit new guttering to his house when they went around door to door selling it. True to form they slapped it up in no time and made a balls of the job, grabbing the money and legging it. The rubbish they put up is square section and ours is the half round type. Where the two gutters meet there is a very severe leak, the walls beneath the join get soaked with water and now we have mildew forming on some walls. I want to sort this mess out, it ried sikoflex in the gaps previously and it simply didn't work.
Is the square type guttering a standard size and shape ? I want to get something to stop this damage happening, maybe a square to round joint, but there would be no point if the correct one was impossible to get.
