Hi,
I've done some underbody rust removing + phosphorus treatment on various places on a mk4 golf, around floor plugs etc. I did a pretty thorough job, cleaning the area with silicone remover before several coats of Spraymax 2K EP primer filler. Was hoping to leave it at that and "coat" it with lanolin after the body plugs are inserted. But I'm reading that even though Spraymax EP primer is water/solvent-proof, it might absorb water given it's porous. So was wondering if anyone could shine a light to that - do I have to sand it down and top coat it with something?
