spray booth fan idea

Hows it going guys . Im just getting my spray booth set up and have a problem with extraction. I have a fan and it is kinda powerful but I fear it wont be enough to move all the air and since im spraying 2k paints I dont want that stuff lingering around . What would ye think of getting a eletric motor 3hp lets say such as seen on a compressor and fix a fan blade to the outlet . I've got one of these in my workshop,
i dont do paintwork in my place, its purely for pulling dust and fumes out,
they certainly move a lot of air.

its not as simple as you think just sticking a fan blade on a motor, there will be different pitches for different speeds and purposes not to mention a speed limit for the fan blade its self before It self destructs.
have a dig around on google, spray booths move a massive amount of air, I think there is a calculator somewhere on the net that will work out how many cfm you need for a given area

yeah i see what you mean how about getting a large fan blade and using a belt and pulley system to find an safe medium between good torque and safe rpm
