I thought I'd post up this tool as there has been some recent interest in it from respected forum members. Also, information on the net is relatively scant on this fairly unique piece of kit. I'm not suggesting everyone should rush out and buy one. I'm only presenting this information for the novice (like myself), general interest and, for those that can, the opportunity to adapt their current tooling if they so choose...

I can't strip it down (yet) because it's still under guarantee!

It's a modified (variable speed & front end housing) 125mm, M14 arbour, 1,200-3,200 rpm, angle grinder made by Cibo in the Benelux with an extensive range of attachments and consumables. ...phew!
Showing the extended housing boss that accepts the handled guard... (ball race; top & bottom of arbour gear.

The rotatable handled guard (that came with it) with a captivated nylon insert...

Freely variable speed dial...

Here's an attachment for the business end, a 6" inflatable rubber tyre...

(Go on then... laugh... I did when I first saw it!

Pictured below is the tyre showing its arbour mount (M14) and a couple of abrasive belts ...and ...a bicycle pump

The thing with the tyre is; it doesn't gouge, so it can even finish sheet products v. well. It's also totally flexible for smoothing contoured work. It keeps heat build-up to a minimum as there is no sink effect.

Other 6" consumables for the tyre; Left - some scotchbrite belts and, Right - 3M's Trizact belts, both for dressing/graining.

These scotchbrite flap wheels fit directly onto the machine's M14 arbour, again for graining and surface conditioning.

A couple of polishing mops that fit on an M14 keyway shaft...

There are plenty of other attachments & consumables (graining tube etc.) available for the FiniMaster, but the one's shown are a few I commonly use. It still takes a lot of time to polish stainless from a mill finish, but, its much quicker, than previous methods, and gives consistently good results.
The tool's rpm's are, also, ideally suited to grinding stainless, as; the speeds offer maximum longevity of the rather expensive abrasives, and most especially; zirconium, with reduced risks of the other effects that heat can cause like; distortion & discolouration of the metal.
Cibo's ceramic flap discs are the best discs I have ever used.
