I've got a spot welder, had it about 10 years now. It's been worth it's weight in gold. Although it's only being used once in the whole time of my possession I wouldn't be without it.View attachment 147906

One day (can't remember when) there was an emergency situation where the handle broke off the colander and we needed to drain the Pettis pois.
"Don't worry" I said to wife, so off I went in to the garage with said broken culinary device.

I returned 10 minutes later and all sorted. The peas were safe

My wife agrees with me that the money was well spent on the spot welder to repair a £2.99 kitchen utensil.

I had a similar important job, my boss broke the handle off a good cooking pot and his wife was not happy. So he asked if I could fix it, 2 minute job and we were both in the good books.
