spoolgun on miller syncrowave tig

hi im wondering can i use a spool gun on my syncrowave transformer tig, i just want it so i can mig brase cars for mot, it doesnt have to look pretty just spit out the wire so i dont have to feed wire with my other hand, it takes too long to tig underneath a car.thanks for all advice

You will never get the wire speed right. You need a CV machine to drive a wire feeder or a voltage sensing feeder.

i figured this but i have been using silicon bronze on a crappy gassless mig believe it or not and it actually works,its not great but it is mechanically ok for boddywork,most of the time i run the tig torch over the welds just to smooth them out, i have used the mig to feed wire into the tig weld puddle and it works but its very hard to use 2 hands like that lol,so surely i could wire the spoolgun through a variable resistor or similar to achieve a weld,it realy doesent have to look pretty

I didn't think you could braze structural parts on cars any more, because of new MOT regs, although I see you are in Ireland, so things might be different over there

we have never had any trouble with it,have you ever tried to break a joint properly braized with spelter? i thought copper pipes wernt allowed in brake lines but,it passes every time over here
