Spin indexer bore size ?

Would anyone happen to know the bore size of the cheapy spin indexers as in the link below ? I want one for putting hex's on bolt heads i make for bikes and want to know the bolt shanks can pass down through the body of the thing.

They are used in conjunction with C5 collets, which are available in many sizes just use the collet that suits the bolt shank size you want to machine.
They do not grip as well as ER32 collets (which are an industrial standard) What you really need is a hexagon collet block with the appropriate collets, when used in a vertical mill hexagonal bolts are easy.

You can put a 1" bar thru the drawbar; I think Hardinge or Crawfords list a 1-1/16 5C collet?
I will make a hex block one day, until then the spin indexer does the job fine.

Pity they are 5c collets only, as i have a fair few er32 collets here, a full set and a good few loose ones.

Hmmmmm, arceurotrade do a spin indexer with er32 collets instead of 5c, or hex collet blocks that hold er40 collets. Glad to see someone seen a market opportunity and went for it.
