I'm looking for some metal speed shapes to show different powder coat samples.

Slim boy may be thinking cars or wheels ect if you are aiming at the automotive sector.
What about some metal utensil holders or soap dishes ect. I would have a wander round IKEA or suck like

Good idea on the soap dishes, I'm not a fan of ikea (see knife thread!) But may be worth the trip as apparently the have Mr whippy machines

Speed shapes have both flat and curved surfaces to show the colour in different lights but i can only find plastic ones. You can coat plastic but only certain plastics can take the heat. Also a lot of outgassing issues with plastic from what i have read.
