Morning all,
Knocked these up last weekend. Made from 3mm plate and 60mm tube. Drilled and tapped the base plate for a set of M8 speaker spikes so they are in full contact with the concrete subfloor.
I also stitched drilled and filed the base plate so the tube goes through it and is welded flush underneath for a cleaner look.
Two coats of etching primer, one very thick coat of textured paint (sand finish) and two coats of Matt Black enamel top coat.
Rather pleased with the finish and how much better the speakers sound now they are off the floor!
