i got one of these for my birthday today.

are they any good or am i better of getting the 18v one from them?

NOOOOOOOOOO DONT DO IT

They are crap , well ok might be ok for very ocassional use
I have one i used it for work , if the batteries get hot after use you can forget using it for at least two hours . they have to cool down even before it will start to recharge them
one of the two batteries had a bad connecton inside which i had to re-solder .

I originally bought it because of the price it was a lot cheaper than an equivalent bosch ,dewalt etc i soon realised why it was so much cheaper .

i recently bought its replacement a 14.4 volt milwaukee and it was £114

well it was a present so i'm not saying no am i.

i don't use it every day i do banger racing, so it probs be used to strip cars, change shafts, legs etc nothing heavy

i would like a snap on but i can't justify the cost!!!!

i'll see how this one goes i suuppose

well had a little play in stripping a banger and it worked well i'm happy
