Anyone know where I can get a new blade set for this? On google it seems to lead to Ingersoll Rand but I can find anyone selling spares for those either?
Chicago Pneumatic made them as did Snap-On make/sell them[badged snap-on]. You can buy still the spares from snap-on. I stopped the snap -on man in October and got prices, but I couldn't decide whether to sink more dosh in to it or buy something else, when I was repairing cars it was in use everyday,
but I wouldn't use it a lot now. I have had both makes. My CP one was badly worn and it was actually cheaper to buy a new shear from snap on, rather than new blades! I tried the snap-on blades and they fitted the CP shears.
I don't know how bad yours is, mine was really bad and I had the blades and both sides, including the steel bushes, surface ground and I built up the inside of the blade, where the bearing sits, a bit. They worked for another few years of everyday use after the bit of fettling.
