Folks - I'm on the hunt.
I have a set of spanners that are held together with a sort of spring clip. The clip looks like a tapered concertina if you will and it holds the spanners sort of like a stack of spoons if you get the picture. Now I like this idea as it doesn't take up much room in the drawer but it's easy to grab the set and take it to whatever you are working on. Given that the spanners just push between the convolutions and are held by the spring it would be fairly tolerant of different sizes/shapes of spanners.
Anyone know where I can get these clips?
The spanners are Kingcraft but I've no idea whether the clip came with them or a different set or on it's own or......
I have a similar shaped clip that's a two part affair with a hinge. When closed it looks like a tube and it's wider at the bottom to accomodate the wider spanners and tapers to the top as the handle/shaft of the spanners gets narrower. It has a leaf spring in the bottom to hold the spanners under a little tension when they are all in place. Not as versatile as the first sort but might do at a pinch if there is a cheap source......
