Southwest Gas Supplies - Motex 2 weeks for delivery!

Just tried to order my 1st lot of gas ever today decided on Southeast Gas Supplies via Motex as local to me & filled to 200bar instead of Adams @ 137bar & to be cheeky & ask Allen to send me a tenner for being a member of this forum.

Phoned up prices given, more gas & less money than Adams, said ok go ahead & they tell me they have no 10L bottles, fair enough, when can I expect some as need to start welding Mon/Tues, maybe 2 weeks

Looks like I have no choice but to use Adam's Gas.
Less gas & more money Argh banging me head against the wall, will go do some work & come back in a couple of hours to start the order process all over again.

Anyone know of any suppliers that can deliver to me in Dagenham, Essex RM9?

Sorted out now by Adam's Gas, really need to start learning how to weld, got my ppe & regulator sorted thanks to weldequip, just gotta get some scrap metal to practise with.

what was the price at south east and adams? as in all in deposit and gas

I will ring Motex Monday , we offer all our distributors a 3 day delivery or an overnight delivery if urgent !
Shame you did not phone me , I had someone in London yesterday with gas.

The person I spoke to told me upto 2 weeks as he had to order a minimum 30 bottles. Surely it's in their interest to help get me set-up asap with my 1st gas bottle supply, as the repeat business is then captured.

When I have completed the project I am on, I will be returning the Adam's Gas for sure.........

When I start my next project I will give you a call direct 1st Alan.

Do you not mean southwest?

Anyway both were the same prices for the gas £36 & £55 deposit for 10L.
But Southwest is a better deal as the bottle is 200bar filled vs Adam's 137bar.

That is over 600L more gas

Don't care anymore, got the gas sorted now as need to get on with my project I have a 25/02/2012 deadline to try & meet need to learn how to weld yet
