source for flexible brake hose protector

Anybody know of a source of the flexible brake hose protector spring as picture below.
The spring is made of plastic & I need 3 x 600mm lengths. A friend provided me with a short length of the stuff but had know idea where he acquired it. A look on Fleabag turned up some 1/2" ID protector but the stuff I've been given is nearer 7/16" ID, any thoughts?

Try a local hydraulics supplier if you dont find it. A big variety of hose protectors are used in that industry.

Hi Normspanners, not exactly it's for my 1934 Wolesley Hornet special just thought it look good, more aesthetic than practical.

It only kinks in one spot, about an inch away from where it connects to the unit. It needs some sort of strain relief spring thing really, but a spiral would be easier as I could fit it without stripping down the connector. I have had it apart once already, but I doubt the cable crimp could stand being opened up again. I'm hoping to be able to wrap the spiral around the hose and slide it down to the brass nut and probably tape it in place.

I have done similar with one of my migs to make sure the lance/cable stays straight where it leaves the body but is still flexible.

Yeah I guess that would work. Nice and easy to do as well!.

I have a feeling that I've used something very much like this before, but I can't remember where. Maybe on the waste water pipe on a caravan sink? It looks SO familiar! I'm wondering if I have some laying around somewhere.
