Looking for some 7/16 UNC x 8" (190mm), preferably zinc.
Cannot find them that long anywhere.
Any ideas on suppliers?

Have you tried Whitworth?, Very close and should fit. 1/2" is one of the only sizes that don't swap,

I dont think you will find what you want from stock, we have a nutnbolt supplier up the road that have oddball unc bolts that kind of length made for them.Not overly expensive but there will be a wait.

As 8ob says, they are unlikely to be a stock item. fixaball has them up to 6" so you could ask them.

Go and look on some US site (e.g. McMaster) to see if they are available in theat length over there.

Williams Fasteners would also make you some.

Thomas Smith have been very helpful in the past.
I have never used Smith Bullough, so no idea other than seeing them visited by Fred Dibnah on the TV.
But I believe them to be both in the same company group.

For the Volvo? Could you get wider metric bolts and run a die along them? Class 8.8 or higher.
