Does anyone know of a good method of a cleaning up the outside of a log stove and making it look more presentable. My log burner is the best feature of my living room and I do like to light it quite regularly, however the outside of it is looking rather sorry and dull now. I was thinking that maybe it could be waxed and polished up? If anyone knows a decent way I'd be greatful.

Zebrite - used to come in a black/yellow stripy tube/tub.

Beware its really black & you wouldn't want to smear it on your carpet, or (god forbid) stand on the tube!
