Something to removed a seized sleeve from my single sided swingarm.

Working last night so thought I'd take advantage of a workshop full of equipment and some steel scrap.

I already had an m14x1.5 bolt here so knocked up a big eff off slide hammer.



It certainly made a dent in removing the rusted suspension sleeve, unfortunately it removed about 4 threads of sleeve at a time, so in the end I resorted to a 1mm slitting disc and a 115mm disc cutter!! At least I can now move forward with the repair.

I tend to take things to bits as I buy em new or used.....just to oil or grease up the fittings and fixtures....even adding grease nipples or oiling points....just bought an as new spindle moulder, (been stored for years) all the fixings were rusty so changed everything for stainless and oiled all the threads on the rebuild.......
drive's my misses mad but anytime down the line I can take it apart without probs.......
yes, I know I'm sad .........hahaha.......

Im a big fan of molycote on everything or coppa slip usually coppaslip thesedays as my molycote tin is empty and im too tight to buy another.

I tend to take things to bits as I buy em new or used.....just to oil or grease up the fittings and fixtures....even adding grease nipples or oiling points....just bought an as new spindle moulder, (been stored for years) all the fixings were rusty so changed everything for stainless and oiled all the threads on the rebuild.......

I actually bought a tin of Nickel Antiseize based on recommendations elsewhere which is rated up to 1450 degrees but haven't used it yet. A couple of 100g tins were just £4.50 and I was gonna use it on the R1 Exup valve but never did. I left it dry as Copper slip tends to turn to lumps at high temperature.
