We have them coming over here next Friday - doing a fly past at Broughton as it was 80 years since it was built there.

i used to see them quite often as i used to live very close to RAF Northolt and they were based there during the display season, nearly wet myself on quite a few occasions

A place I used to do odd jobs for (in Kent) I would see Spits virtually every day I was there in the summer months, very occasionally a Hurricane and the Lanc once as I recall.

I remember seeing the Lancaster with foilage caught on its tail wheel after clipping the top of a tree one year At the Audley End Wings and Wheels show . Duxford air shows can be clearly seen from our back garden so we tend to see loads of planes

Went up the mountain behind our house to catch them coming over and as luck would have it they approached right behind us, and then down into Broughton. Also had the 2 seater spitfire flying over our house earlier today doing passenger trips - complete with rolls!

We had a Lancaster fly past our cafe one evening a couple of weeks ago, did two circles, then about a week later one flew over in the afternoon. We were just outside Uttoxeter and I can’t remember what it was in the area for.

Not my pic but from the local rag, just parked up at Broughton with one of the Beluga XL transport planes which are a regular sight near us.

Lancaster fly by captured on my cheap old iPhone 8 a couple of years ago. I was amazed it came out so clear. It was at RAF Cosford model aircraft meeting.
