Something odd with Cookies??

For the last few days I have to re-enter my user name and pass word every time I visit the site, despite ticking the 'remember me' box. I know recently there has been legislation about cookies, and maybe Win 7 or Internet Explorer 9 that I'm using have done some auto update. I've set the Privacy slider right down to allow all cookies, but still it happens.

Anyone else experiencing this?

The browsers don't do anything different re the law. What might have happened, though a long shot, is the site is in the block list: tools > internet options > privacy, "sites" button.
Another possibility is the stored cookie is a bit corrupted, clearing the cache might help if thats the case - but you'll lose other stored logons - could use CCleaner, a good free tool which clears the cache and lets you choose which site's cookies to keep.

OK solved! Somehow 'delete browsing history on exit' had got set, which also delete cookies!!!
