Spent an hour today buiding up two repairs where the threads had come out the side due to corrosion, xj 650 jugs on the camchain tunnel.
Now sitting on my small mill to reprofile and skim down near to deck height.
I found it difficult - the puddle kept freezing, this needed all 200Amps I had, and created a temptation to hold the filler too close, with predictably messy results. Preheating and welding in short bursts helped, as did in/out fast with the filler.
