Not only that, it's being advertised in the public domain. For me that's a total no go to even bring a subject like this up on an public forum. It's asking for trouble. I'm surprised this thread has not been pulled. Please let common sense prevail.
You should also remember people could get disgruntled if they have to have full paid copies, old software or not. home use or not.
Had a client send me models that came up with student version when opened. I told him I can't use them, it infects all other open files on your solidworks and makes them student version.
Anyway a couple of weeks later the client came back to me and said the University lecturer who supplied them had been using the student version at university to supply the models. Funnily enough by then he had to pay for the full commercial version as far as I know that was to avoid been taken to court which would have cost him more.
