Not at this time of year - constant darkness!
People never seem to realise just how far north Britain is. Hence it doesn't get dark until 11pm and gets light again around 3am in June.
London is further North than any proper city in Canada and we are much further North than any part of the USA excluding Alaska.
Nope permanent darkness!
