Is there such a thing as a decent solar powered flood light, doesn't need to be super bright but 10 or 20 watts ish?

www.sunstore.co.uk
its not thatIm kind of leaning towards the 12v idea from gaz
Ive plenty of batteries hanging about so it may make more sense for a little 12v standalone system
The bigger the battery the bigger a panel needed to charge it. And, I'm not sure of this, but the bigger the losses?its not that
its time on with solar it quotes 6/8 hrs on time i presume in summer but winter its not charged enough but with a bigger battery it would help more
its the same with @Robotstar5 system remove the batterys and replace with a bigger battery
i see the bigger battery and also the bigger solar panel will help charge the battery in winter time when there light around in winter is alot of dark days
The problem with the cheap ones is that the battery is too small (cheap) and wears out too fast, so the panel is producing but the battery isn't storing the energy being produced properly. The bigger the battery the bigger a panel needed to charge it. Don't think I'll worry about a solar panel, just a a 12v battery and swap it out when it needs charging
For 10 or 20w pinging on now and then a car battery will be fine, the job won't run to a fancy new batteryIt will need to be a 12v deep cycle battery, a standard car battery is not suitable.
