Soda Blasting interior carpet glue

I am striping down my Camper van as it is going in for a full inside/outside respray.

I have now finished striping the interior however to save my sparayer time and me money I need to clean up all the old carpet/lining glue up from the inside.

Rather than using horrible brain melting chemicals could I use my soda blaster to clean all the old glue residue ect?

Could be difficult if the glue is soft, it'll absorb the media.

I've blasted sealants by working on an edge and effectively peeling the stuff off.

Thanks for the reply, the glue is mostly covered in the foamy carpet backing. Worth a shot thou you think?#

Wouldn't like to say - I just used what I had to hand, fairly fine though.

I think that you'll end up with a stick mess! At least take the worst off with a scraper first.

Get a bottle of acetone and a bunch of rags.

A wire cup wheel on a mini grinder will remove a lot.

as above will rasp it off in no time .blasting will be useless

I will go with scraper and wire cup wheel then finish with the acetone to clear up the mess. Can I use thinners/MEK ?

Council chewing gum removal machines work by freezing the yuck on the pavement, then blasting it away. Must be a similar issue to yours.
