Warm it first a bit. there may be a locking glue on it.Yep right hand thread. Normal socket and ratchet should do the trick. Chock the blade with a piece of wood.

I couldn't get the bolt out of mine either after 20 years of corrosion, had to grind the head off and buy a new one.
