Snow here now. Thats it started, mate came to drop off a sofa in a long wheel base sprinter as it was only rain when he left Glasgow. I had to recover him from the country lane, tying straps to trees an all sorts, soaked to the bone. Good laugh though.

By the time we went to bed, around midnight, there was a couple of inches of hail and snow on the ground. Much of it has gone this morning and the winds have abated.

Power to our wee village went at about 9pm so we just dozed on the sofa with the dogs by firelight, I polished off the last few inches from a bottle of Glenlivet before we went to bed - power restored about 1am.
