I picked up the above welder a couple of years ago and have finally had a chance to work with it. It had a 13amp plug on it but it kept blowing the fuse. I'm not sure why, but I thought a good solution would be to fit a 16amp plug instead. It's still tripping the breaker in the consumer unit, so I haven't solved the problem at all.
It's tripping out when I press the trigger on the torch. It doesn't do it every time, and when it doesn't trip it happily lays down a decent weld at a high power setting without issue. I can't see anything obvious inside that suggests there's a problem. I gave the internals a blast of compressed air in the hopes that there was an errant bit of dust, but it's still doing it. I'm not sure where to start looking.
I've been trying to find a manual for the thing but I can't seem to find anything on either the Cebora site or the Snap-On site, any ideas?
