Smoke alarm switching mains off.

I really should know this but to be honest i have never needed one. I am in need of a smoke detector that with switch a mains supply off.

I am guessing you could hack one and add a relay that would switch mains but surely one must already exist.

System?? As in smoke alarm system?

Its a stand alone alarm i intend to fit in my 3D printer Cupboard. I just thought i could use a heat and a smoke alarm to cut off the mains power if anything started to go wrong.

But i will PM as and when i get time to start work on it.

If all else fails, a conventional smoke alarm with a sound operated switch.
