Small stainless welding job, Hull/East Yorks.

Don't know if anyone can help with this one but I thought I'd ask before being quoted telephone number prices

I've recently fitted rather sexy polished stainless mirror guards to my wagon and I'm hoping to use them for fitting supplementary mirrors for when I'm carrying wide loads. The bottom brackets are pressed to shape and I'd like to weld a piece of stainless box section to each one, into which I can slide a length of smaller box which has a mirror head on one end, clamped in place by a welded M12 nut and bolt affair. The main issue is that I'd like them polishing afterwards.

Anyone either in the area or know anyone?

Good point well made, but the irony of it is that although I'm let loose with a lorry worth nigh-on £250K that's fitted with a heavy Hiab and is computer controlled to within an inch of its' life, I'm useless at anything to do with digital cameras

If it helps, the job is basically welding an M12 nut onto one side of a 100 mm length of 40 x 40 ss box and then welding both ends of said length into a corner of the mirror bracket. It's not a big job but I've never done stainless so I thought I'd leave it to someone who has.
