I think I will try the 3M disposable cup system. After buying measuring cups. filters and using loads of gun wash this may be cheaper, less messy and no worse environmentally waste wise, may be better using less gun wash.

I have mixture of cheapy and a devilbiss guns, is it one size fits all? I shall watch some vids of it on the train this morning.

I've been painting a few cleaned up small parts lately but sometimes get put off having to use my devillbiss panel gun . it takes 2 much paint and takes ages to clean . steve lang said use a cheapo gun that costs about 10 quid . they work very well and when finished with just wipe the pot out with kitchen towel . a quick run through with celly thinners and the jobs done

Here's a vid on 3M PPS, I especially like the way you can put a cap on a half full pot and save it for later, as long as its not a 2 pack paint of course. Suits me when I have loads of small bits to do when renovating old machinery, its too long between spraying sessions to leave it in the gun but cleaning it up each time is a pain when your spraying a couple of hours later. I shall be buying a couple of adapters and cups pronto as I'm spraying loads of small bits of tractor now.

I've just spoken to spray guns direct, I wanted to confirm something

All the of the PPS systems whether it be mini or large have exactly the same fitting so as long as you have the fitting on your gun then any of the cups will fit so you can even do small batches in you big gun.

I just started another thread on 3M PPS so its easier to find for future reference. I bought my PPS pots etc. from srayguns direct but couldnt find adapters on their online store, their search tool is useless. I should have called them but was on the train and I hate calling from there.
