Small spool to large spool (wire)

As above i have a large spool of wire for my mig welder but the spindle for the wire fits the small flux core wire but the hole in the centre of the larger 5kg spool is mutch larger. How can i rectify this.
The welder is a Sealy MightyMig 150 Gas/ Gasless

Get an empty mini spool and cut the middle out so it fits snugly inside the hole of the 5kg one?

Weldequip does adapters see link at top of page or get some off cuts of plastic drain pipe and makeup to fit

I had to get a new spool holder and it cost £8 and takes the 5kg spools.
Google kr tools in Staines, very helpful guys
