Just another begging for advice Post.
We have a small 2 man fab shop where we weld 3/16 square tube up to 1/2" plate. We currently use a 10+ year old Miller 250 Goldseal. We are trying to incorporate spray transfer into our process and find the lug adjustments on the Miller are not accurate enough.
My supplier is really pushing a Lincoln SP350. My steel supplier says don't buy some thing with bells and whistles we will never use and just complicates repairs. He suggests an ESAB 260 Multimaster. When I asked why not Just a MIG Master 250 or 275 he says not enough power.
While surfing the net I was reading on a site written by some super duper welding consultant that says pulse welders are production nightmares.
It is no wonder I am confused having been out of the market for 10 years, getting conflicting advice and reading too much so I thought I would just try and get some additional opinions so I can truly have paralysis by analysis
