Not really a paint problem but I'm hoping someone can help. A couple of nights ago, I pulled up to a roundabout. There was a tipper waiting to turn right, blocking my view. I waited for him to pull away and set off myself. As I set off, there was a loud bang. When I got home, I instantly noticed 3 dents in the side panel of my car. I can only assume the truck fired something from under it's wheel as it went round the roundabout! I am gutted to say the least! For 6 years, I've washed, waxed and polished it, parked at the far end of carparks, garaged it only to be shot at by a truck! The dents are not too big and there is very little paint damage but they are really noticeable, being on a large panel. What I was wondering is, has anyone used one of those dent removal companys? Do they work and are they cost effective? I don't really want an insurance claim but the cost of having the panel repaired by a body shop is a bit worrying as I'd expect they would have to repaint the whole panel.
