"Slight clicking sound when turning"

I have seen a cheap car, (1996 fiesta) that has as a fault "a slight clicking sound when turning left or right does not affect driving at all"

Any gueses as to what it might be. Just wondering whether or not its worth going to have a look see ?

CV joint possibly.

Price them up from local factors.
Normally dirt cheap.

I remember the very first CV joint i changed on my first car (mums old mini) I titghened it up too much and it was knackered again within 50 mile. DOH! live and learn. thats what Torque charts are for

it could be the wheel bearing or lower wishbones! How cheap is it as there becoming really cheap for a car with T+T for under £500

cheap as chips! go for it even if you put a few quid into it a polish and tlc will see you break even

sounds like CV Joints drive car on full lock left and right circles
not dear for the money how long is the test and would it test again is the question

does it do it stood still, stick a glossy magazine under each wheel makes turning the wheel easy, it could be any part of the suspesion

Good point. But by clicking though you would assume continuous.
If it only did it once then it would be a click. Or more likely a clunk.

Maybe I'm reading too much into his wording.
