Hello,
I'm wanting to make some sliding gates for my driveway. I need sliders really as it means I can get 4 cars down the drive and still close the gates.
However, We live on a gradient of about 10 degree's. So the gate will have to go up this. It looks like most of the motors won't allow this. I don't fancy having a 3-4" wide 18" deep channel when the gates are open.
Is there a way around this? I.e. a kit what will work up/down hill. Or do I need to use some kind of counterbalance system.
Also idea's on design. 1 post is lower than the other, i'll obviously have to slope the bottom of the gate, but not sure if to keep the top level. But this will mean the gate is lower onto 1 pillar then the other.
Many thanks.
