slall Stainless steel wire brushes?

I can buy the big ones cheap as chips from my local supplier, but for the kind of nadgery work I do I could really, really use 2 to 3 inch long ones with plastic handles.

As they're for just about anything but mild steel I need a few and they need to be stainless.

Any ideas?

Halfords do little ones that are brush like in appearance (bristles and handle sticking out the back. Wickes do some very handy ones with the handle in a ring around the brush (look like knuckledusters) which are easier to hold but poorer for access. Both available in stainless, but both probably 4 inches long.

I guess if those guys do them then most hardware places will have something.

I'm suprised your local welding suppliers don't carry stainless 'tooth brushes'. I take it this is what you're after (in the background with it's big brother). I'm sure i stumbled over a brush specialist (yeah i'm serious) that had a huge selection while searching for something else with google but can't find 'em now- googling 'stainless toothbrush' just got a load of bathroom accessories

Thanks -- looks close, maybe a bit too big, but if I can't find any toothbrushes............

They really are for nadgery little bits, 2" OD Ti tubing and even less accessible bits of small bore inlet manifold. Must be easier doing stuff for a Chrysler Hemi!
