Size x bloody £63.88pa rental!

Just got the shock of my life in the form of a yearly invoice from BOC. THe rental has gone over 60 quid a year for a tiny size x bottle so I'm pulling the plug on it - it's nearly twice what it was 3 years ago when I opened my account and on top of that last year they managed to tag-on a full-sized oxy rental just for fun. I don't use my welder enough to justify the cost so especially with this new increase I'm going to tell them to shove it and go witha no-rental bottle.

I know just how you feel mate. I was throwing over £30 a month Air Products direction just to have 2 bottles sat in my garage in case I wanted to do a bit of welding! Then, if one ran out, I had to pay £25 on top of re-fill just to get it delivered! I'm sure if someone set up a company to match the two big ones, did rent free and, lets say had a delivery day maybe once a week for a reasonable charge, they would get a lot of customers.
Untill that happens I'll stick to Co2.
