factory i work in has just had 39k square feet of concrete cut out with one of those. Took it off the trailer with a crane. Bloody noise things but get the job done.

long story, we used to make lorry axles in one half of the building and brakes in the other. Guys at the top decided axles weren't bringing in enough money so cut it. In an attempt to bring in a bit of cash we decided to sell hlf the building, however we are selling the half we are currently in. So are having new floor, new offices and new facilities in the empty half, buying in a load of new machinery. Moving all the equipment we need into the new half, scrapping the rest and then levelling the soon to be empty side and selling it to local council so they can build a bus station. Also had a new morrisons built on our old carpark.

Had something similar done at Longbridge in the 80's, cost about £25 m² at the time, noisiest bit was prepping the old floor using a medieval looking thing with rotating tungsten tips to rough it up "scabbling"
