SIP Weldmate P160P

I'm fairly new to the welding concept, but am restoring an old Series Land Rover. Since a majority of the bodywork is aluminum, as I understand it TIG is the way.

Does anyone have any experence of using a SIP Weldmate P160P TIG welder? Are the reviews good? would this be powerful enough to weld aluminum body panels?

I've not had personal experience of that particular model (it's fairly new) & it will do your job; seems a bit pricey to me though, you can get higher specification machines for less money... take a look at the Fusion 210 AC/DC on www.inverterfusion.com

You'll be on a mission learning to ally TIG on Landy bodywork, even with pulse. Stick to folding and rivets like most people do!
If you insist on this frustrating route, start with no thinner than 16swg (1.5mm) scrap and work your way down to thinner material, then if you want to weld 1.0mm in position.........!W/A.
