Hi, just picked my Sip TopMig Turbo 150 welder up today and everything looks good. I would like to use the Clarke mini gas bottles from Machine mart to save space and keep the welder as portable as possible. Ive had a look at the gas inlet on the welder and its a conical nipple with a approx 7/8mm diameter tube coming of it leading to the regulator to fit a large bottle. Would i be able to run this welder off mini gas bottles as the tubing is a smaller diameter? Thanks in advance.

Mini gas bottles last about 5-10 mins and it's by far the most expensive way of buying gas.
You'd be much better off trying to get a pub sized bottle of CO2 on a non-rental basis.
