Well guys,
Did the mods that les at tech arc reccomended and I now have a cracking set for the hobby jobs I want to do in future.
I've replaced torch unit with euro style, added new wire feed unit with on power feed and also changed trim pot.
Here's the results of my set an weld on chassis

Brilliant Good work.

With some effort they can be turned into a decent enough welder, plus you end up knowing your machine inside/out.
