mate from the symptoms you described in your pm,like i said the problem is more than likely the wiring to the added on euro connector.
I obviously cant confirm this without examining the machine or seeing a wiring diagram and you making some tests with an ohmeter or voltmeter.

Im sorry i cant help you without these.
