SIP p214 ac dc tig

Is there any one on here that has a sip p214 ac dc tig,

A friend has an account with sip and can get a really good winter deal,
I know when it comes to welders you get what you pay for most of the time.

i have an esab mig and esab plasma and they are awesome. but i use them loads, the tig i won't be using that often so i can't justify to my accountant 2.5k for a tig that will get used once a week at tops!

The SIP has a good duty cycle and it is a reliable name. i realise sip is a warehouse of loads of products but it does have a 2yr warranty.

Any info would be great.

Don't personally own one, but have sold many of these recently. Current deal is a free foot control and headshield for about £800 + VAT. Although that does depend on the outlet.. Some are charging more, others a bit less.

The 2year warranty is defo a good thing, considering SIP's shady past. Although the new 'green' range of machines are defo a vast improvement.

If using for low/moderate use then defo a machine worth buying... however, for heavy production use... go for something more superior.
