I have a SIP Migmate mig welder and I got from my father about 15 years ago. I used it once to try to weld some thin steel box tubing. I did not get far with that project because it kept popping the 15 amp curcuit breaker.
Just dug it out of the attic to do some body work on a 1987 Pontaic Trans Am. Here is all I know about it. It's an SIP migmate no model number or serial numbers can be found on it. All it has on the front panel is
115V 60HZ
UO 20 -127V
Min 35A Max 100A
Class H IP21
Made in Britian
I pulled it in an nothing happens. The power switch looks like it should light up when you turn it on. But the switch does not light up an nothing happens when I pull the trigger.
I email SIP 2 days ago to get some direction with it but as of yet I have heard nothing from SIP.
I live in Akron Ohio USA
any suggestions???
Thanks
