Hi All,
I'm in the process of changing my liner on my beloved Migmate - the only issue I have is that the shorter power wire with the blue sheathing which runs from the end of the main power wire at the torch end to the torch 'switch' assembly via a spade connector has broken away from the main wire. Originally, the power to the connector in question was powered several strands of the mains wire running under a brass clip/connector/crimp which goes around the wire feed section in the torch. The problem is, the brass crimp can't [I don't think] be removed to release some more strands.
The only thing I can think of is to use some plastic crimps to grab some of the strands emerging from above the big brass crimp and then run the blue wire to the spade connector from there. If anyone has any more elegant solutions, I'd love to know about them.
Thanks guys. Picture attached to supplement my rambling description.
Steve.
