Sip inverter 180 stopped

Anyone on here repairs welders or know anything was fine last day and today doing this only and tried stick welding and won't strike arc at all ,it's a synergic so can't adjust feed but not trying to melt wire atal
See picture below what mig is doing at 180 amp

Hello and welcome to the Forum !

In the first instance, I would suggest contacting the supplier of your welder, or SIP themselves. Even if it is no longer under warranty, they may be able to offer support at a reasonable price.

In your pictures 4 and 5 it looks like a white-sleeved cable or wiring harness may have been been damaged, cut, or burnt. It is lying on the fins of the large aluminium heatsink at the bottom centre - the one that connects to the front panel with a copper busbar.
On the other hand, it might just connect to a thermal sensor that is glued to the heatsink ...?

hi Everyone
I'm new to the forum and thank you in advance for any help I can get. I acquired this Parweld xts162dv and at the moment it's completely dead. No lights or display working on the front panel. I wonder if anyone here has got service manual or diagram for this welder or similar please or any idea where i can buy it. I tried to google it but no joy so far. Any clues would be much appreciated. Thanks

has some general troubleshooting hints.

**Please note that the large input capacitors will hold charge, at 325v DC, even after the machine is unplugged.

If you have the correct test equipment and PPE and are confident working on live circuits, you could check the 230v AC voltage across the rectifier input, and the 325v DC output across the rectifier and capacitors.

Tec-Arc in York offer inverter welder repairs.
You could also try contacting R-Tech in Tewkesbury. They service and repair their own machines, but also offer repairs for other major brands.

Second the discoloured brass strips.

To add to the capacitor bit. Unable to find it, comment on YouTube video. Guys mate got a belt off one, knocked him out. When he came back on line he was paralysed on his near side.

Presumably permanently as no breathing, mega brain damage is caused by only 6 minutes no oxygen.

If you have to poke it, use wooden stick and one hand in your pocket
