Hi All, not been here for over a year it says, sorry must have been busy.
I'm looking for a new portable welder, I had a Kemppi 180 Adaptive but it died a death, I then got an R-Tech inv 160, which I still have but the duty cycle keeps turning the stupid thing off halfway through a job, most annoying so it has to go. Sure it's fine for car bodywork but it's no good for welding narrowboat roofs (which is why I want a little welder, my 350 amps a bit ott for that and climbing down to move it 60 foot one way then back is tiresome) I've seen these sip inverters for sale and think they look good, I have owned 2 sips before and found them good machines. Anyone used one? Opinions would be great. Cheers Daz
